Stephanie Ferris Named CEO

Recently, the FIS Board of Directors appointed Stephanie as President and Chief Executive Officer of FIS and has assumed the role as of December 16, 2022. A 28-year industry veteran with expertise in payments, technology platform businesses and driving digital transformation, Ferris led the integration of Worldpay into FIS, surpassing both revenue and cost synergy commitments.

Q. Tell us about yourself!
A. I was born and raised in Sonoma-Napa Valley, Northern California. I have two amazing parents that are still together after raising me and my two younger sisters. My sisters would say I am the bossiest. I was the tomboy of the bunch, played every sport there was to play and loved the team environment.
I have two beautiful grown children: Jessica and Kyle, who still are the best of friends. I have four grands: Michael, Myles, Mindy and Kylie Rae AND I am not a grandma. I am a Mimi. I also have a wonderful life partner of 19 years and counting.

Q. What is your role with Worldpay from FIS?
A. I am a Strategic Partner Manager within our MSFI Banking division. I collaborate with my assigned Banks on the development and execution of their growth strategies that produce the results with our Merchant Services, product and solution offerings.

Q. What aspect of your role do you enjoy the most?
A. Being a leader in this industry, I want every one of my Bank Partners and the Worldpay family to know the dedication I have within, to be the best version of me and to utilize my knowledge in the best way possible. I love to create success with all aspects of my job, that includes learning and updating my skillset, coaching to succession, leading with empowerment to create the value for each and every one of my Bank Partners and WP family. We really are one, and if I can share that and inspire others, we all win. Success will follow!

Q. What are 5 (or 10) things that people would be surprised to learn about you?
• I am a Mimi
• I am a snowboarder
• We lost 2 houses in the Tubbs California wildfire
• I am bi-coastal, Northern California and Florida. We live in a fly in community in a log home on 17 acres in Florida. Yes, I can drive a Kubota tractor and I’m good at it!
• I am currently working on getting my pilot’s license in the near future.
• I am a water child. I love all facets like the pool, river and ocean. I love the sun and boating.
• I collect anything that is heart shaped.
